A+ Certification is a CompTIA-sponsored testing program that certifies the competency of entry-level computer services technicians. The A+ test contains situational, traditional, and identification types of questions. All of the questions are multiple choice with only one correct answer for each question. The test covers a broad range of hardware and software technologies, but is not bound to any vendor-specific products. The program is backed by major computer hardware and software vendors, distributors, resellers and publications. Cisco CCNA

This course is for people with the desire to work with networks. We cover Cisco concepts as outlined in the latest ICND curriculum. Students will learn Internetworking Concepts Overview; Assembling and Cabling Cisco Devices; Operating and Configuring a Cisco IOS Device; Managing Your Network Environment; Interconnecting catalyst switches; Extending Switched Networks with Virtual LANs; and Router and Switch concepts. Learn to interconnect Networks with TCP/IP; Determining IP Routes; Basic IP Traffic Management with Access Lists; Configuring Novell IPX; and configuring WANx and VPNs. At course completion, students will be prepared for the Cisco CCNA exam.
